Meet the Squash Committee
Who’s “in charge” of squash?
STSC is a members club, run for the members, by the members, who are all volunteers. There is no one person “in charge” of squash. We all have to work together to make squash at STSC work well. The current committee are: Mark Davies (Leagues and Ladders), John Darcy (a good contact for Junior Squash issues), Bill Bailey (all round mine of squash info and keen doubles player) and Natalie Le Serve-Ort (the Club Coach). Awaiting photos of the committee - we don't want to scare you away so haven't put them up yet!
We are currently looking for a new Squash Captain to Chair the committee and act as a point of contact for squash players at the club. If you are interested in this role, you would like to join the committee or you want to give some help or feedback, please e-mail desk@stscsport.co.uk.
What does the Squash Committee do?
The Squash Committee is there to help you enjoy squash. They aim to organise the events you ask for, help iron out problems you have and aid communication between the various groups at the club.
What do I do if there’s a problem or I have a great idea?
Please don’t keep feedback (problems, great ideas or compliments!) to yourself. Let a member of the Squash Committee know and they will do their best to help you. Their contact details are on the squash noticeboard, or ask at the bar.
What sort of things are discussed at Squash Committee meetings?
We hold monthly meetings and you can find the minutes of the latest meeting are posted on the squash noticeboard. The minutes of all our meetings are available below.
