Your Squash Committee at Sutton Tennis and Squash Club

Who’s “in charge” of squash?

STSC is a members club, run for the members, by the members, who are all volunteers.  There is no one person “in charge” of squash.  We all have to work together to make squash at STSC work well.  The squash committee has been re-formed with Andrew Jennings as Squash Captain, very ably assisted by Bill Bailey, John Darcy, Mark Davies, Luke Edgecombe and Phil Layton. We have introduced an internet booking system and will be providing more social occasions for all members to enjoy. Any ideas or suggestions are warmly welcomed, please contact one of us.

What does the Squash Committee do?

The Squash Committee is there to help you enjoy squash.  They aim to organise the events you ask for, help iron out problems you have and aid communication between the various groups at the club.

What do I do if there’s a problem or I have a great idea?

Please don’t keep feedback (problems, great ideas or compliments!) to yourself. Let a member of the Squash Committee know and they will do their best to help you. Their contact details are on the squash noticeboard, e-mail or ask at the bar.

What sort of things are discussed at Squash Committee meetings?

Squash committee meetings are held regularly. For an example of the type of items that are discussed the minutes from the April 2011 meeting are available here.

We hope to be publishing the minutes of our more recent meetings soon.
