Here are the main headlines about the club as of today, 1st June 2020:
The clubhouse remains closed, including the toilets, although we are looking into opening the toilets only from next week.
ADENDUM: Toilets will be open from Monday 8th June, but not hot water – so unless you are extremely tough, no showers yet;-)
The toilets are accessed through the conservatory, but this is for access only. Please don’t stay in the conservatory at this stage. Thanks.
The tennis courts are open and restrictions have been lifted further. See the image below for an overview of the guidelines:
- There are not yet any plans to re-start any organised tennis activities such as mix ins or group coaching, but there may be small, privately organised group coaching.
- Please still keep to privately organised games of tennis and avoid social activity and spectating.
- Please still play only by booking courts. See THIS PAGE for info about that.
- Our team of tennis coaches are available to give you lessons at the moment.
There is unfortunately no proposed date yet for the return of squash. See England Squash statement HERE. We will of course re-open squash as soon as the rules allow.
Clubhouse, bar, social
As with squash, there is not yet clear news as to when these aspects will re-open.
Any tennis members wishing to play can un-pause or renew memberships in order to do so. Any squash members who would like to play tennis during this period can do the same. Please contact us to do so.
