Next camps february half term 2022

This page is especially for you if your child or children are enrolled in our programme of group lessons and you pay a monthly direct debit. Over a year, you receive some hours of tennis camps in the school holidays and half terms as part of your programme. This page is for you to book your hours of tennis camps. It will be open for bookings earlier than for everyone else, and it is a simplified booking form which doesn’t require payment.

February Half Term

  • Monday 14th to Friday 18th February

Easter Holidays

  • Week 1 – Monday 4th to Friday 8th April.
  • Week 2 – Monday 11th to Thursday 14th April.

May Half Term

  • Monday 30th May to Friday 3rd June.

Summer Holidays

  • Week 1 – Monday 25th to Friday 29th July.
  • Week 2 – Monday 1st to Friday 5th August.
  • No camps w/c 8th August due to British Tour Event.
  • Week 3  – Monday 15th to Friday 19th August.
  • Week 4  – Monday 22nd to Friday 26th August.

October Half Term

  • Monday 24th to Friday 28th October.


  • 3-4 year olds, 9.30-10.30am
  • Morning for 5-16 year olds, 9.30am-12.30pm
  • Full day for 5-16 year olds, 9.30-3.30

Signing in takes place between 9.00am and 9.25am. You can leave your child with us from 9am (not applicable to 3-4 year olds)


As you receive some hours as part of your programme, you may not need to pay anything (that depends on your package and how many hours you have used). Mornings will use up 3 hours of your allowance, full days 5 hours and tots sessions 1 hour. If you are not sure how many hours you have available, contact us. If you are confident that you have some hours available, please just go ahead and book below without payment. If you feel that you do need to pay for camps (even partially), please do this via our main tennis camp page.


For 3 to 4 year olds, it’s just the one hour, which consists of all kinds of ball skills, movement skills and basic tennis, using balloons, bean bags, juggle scarves, beach balls – anything to keep it fun and help them to start learning the game.

For everyone else, we get them into groups at 9.30am according to their age, although we may move children into different groups as necessary as we get to know them.

The sessions then consist of warm ups, agility, balance and co-ordination skills, coaching of all the shots, drills, fun games, competition & matchplay (where appropriate).

Children who stay for the whole day have lunch from 12.30-1.30. In the afternoon, we may sometimes do other sports /  activities, depending on the ages, abilities and preferences of the children.

The “extended day” will be supervised activities in the clubhouse from 8.30-9.30am and 3.30-4.30pm.

  • If you have your own racket, bring it. If not, we can supply one.
  • We take snack breaks so please bring snacks.
  • Bring a drink.
  • Clothing can be any sports clothes. Trainers are a must. Please no studs, crocs, sandals or casual shoes.
  • Bring appropriate clothing for the weather – hot, cold, wet…..
    Sun cream for hot weather.

We go ahead in all weather as we have a programme of activities inside. This may consist of mini tennis in the squash courts, table tennis, indoor games, arts and crafts. We’ll stay outside as much as possible, but in really bad weather, we’ll go inside and get back out as soon as possible. Either way, you know the camp is always going ahead.
